[rita looks around to make sure nobody's in earshot...]
There's a group called the Honor Society. I'm a member.
We meet at night, and we get to choose somebody each week to investigate. We can find out if that person's killed anyone, or if they're involved in "additional activities" themselves.
Wait, before we go any further. I'm telling you right now because we have a rule that allows us to tell exactly one person per week. You just had the luck of running into me before we used it on someone else.
So... anything to do with the Society and its membership? You can't tell anyone else. Not even other people involved in your activity, if there are any, or a dorm head -- nobody. If you do, we'll know, and it won't be pretty.
Mm... Telling you all what my activity is comes with a risk, so I would need everyone's agreement to that. [ He hopes that makes sense. ] What is the goal of the Honor Society exactly?
... Well, we thought it was to catch killers and stop them from killing, but... it turns out we're all on the same side, so...
[IT'S BEEN A JOURNEY.]
We do have a secondary function. When we help people with extra credit, we can get access to new information. We've been distributing it to everyone's lockers each week.
So... right now, we're just trying to learn everything we can so we can solve the mysteries of this place and get everybody home. And... to that end, we've been trying to find other people with "roles." So that maybe we can have all the pieces to this stupid puzzle.
It has been really hectic this week. [ So he understands how this all is like oof. ] But I do plan to do my extra credit this coming week. Alphinaud offered to help me.

I told him I don't plan on leaving anyone behind. I won't.

Anyway. ]
... Did you receive anything, Rita?
no subject
Actually, yeah. A letter, and... [she takes something from her pocket and unfolds it.] A crayon drawing. Just like the lizard promised.
no subject
[ It... Just happened. Anyway: ]
My letter told me to talk to you.
no subject
Did they say why?
no subject
[ He looks at Rita like if she might? Know something? ]
no subject
and then]
Nier... Have you ever heard anything about something called "Additional Activities"?
no subject
... Do you get called to go somewhere for these?
no subject
G-give me a minute. I have to do something.
[she pulls out her phone, and she's doing something with it with great urgency.]
no subject
[ Nier will wait! ]
no subject
Okay. I don't know what you can tell me, but I can tell you everything.
no subject
I'm listening... Though I don't know what to expect.

Understood.

[she takes a breath.]
So... our current members are me, Yamato, Alphinaud, and Kon. Started with me and Yamato, and we got to recruit a few as we went along.

I see, so that has been your group. The notes have been really helpful. [ ... ] I haven't touched my extra credit in some time.
no subject
[eagerly.]
no subject
[ Yeah. ]

[ So that's out of the way. Laughs in endgame. ]
no subject
[since it's alphinaud. lmao.
she's texting on her phone again...]
... Whatever the risks are, we're all in agreement. If you're willing to tell us.
