... Do you get called to go somewhere for these?

[well, this sure snaps rita out of her funk.]

[she pulls out her phone, and she's doing something with it with great urgency.]

[ Nier will wait! ]

[she's furiously texting somebody??? she does it for like a minute. then she lowers her phone and lets out a short breath.]

Okay. I don't know what you can tell me, but I can tell you everything.

[ WOW SHe'S SO FAST!! Nier has boomer fingers in comparison. ]

I'm listening... Though I don't know what to expect.

[rita looks around to make sure nobody's in earshot...]

There's a group called the Honor Society. I'm a member.

We meet at night, and we get to choose somebody each week to investigate. We can find out if that person's killed anyone, or if they're involved in "additional activities" themselves.

[ HONOR... SOCIETY. I'M FUCKING LAUGHING. ]

I did remember them telling me there might be more people like this...

Wait, before we go any further. I'm telling you right now because we have a rule that allows us to tell exactly one person per week. You just had the luck of running into me before we used it on someone else.

So... anything to do with the Society and its membership? You can't tell anyone else. Not even other people involved in your activity, if there are any, or a dorm head -- nobody. If you do, we'll know, and it won't be pretty.

... Also, even though I can tell you everything about us, it doesn't change any of your rules. So... be careful about what you say back.

So... our current members are me, Yamato, Alphinaud, and Kon. Started with me and Yamato, and we got to recruit a few as we went along.

Mm... Telling you all what my activity is comes with a risk, so I would need everyone's agreement to that. [ He hopes that makes sense. ] What is the goal of the Honor Society exactly?

We do have a secondary function. When we help people with extra credit, we can get access to new information. We've been distributing it to everyone's lockers each week.

So... right now, we're just trying to learn everything we can so we can solve the mysteries of this place and get everybody home. And... to that end, we've been trying to find other people with "roles." So that maybe we can have all the pieces to this stupid puzzle.

I see, so that has been your group. The notes have been really helpful. [ ... ] I haven't touched my extra credit in some time.

... It's kind of... In bad taste to do it towards the end of the week. It's more of a public event, too.

It has been really hectic this week. [ So he understands how this all is like oof. ] But I do plan to do my extra credit this coming week. Alphinaud offered to help me.

I'm able to save an innocent party from Sunday execution, but they cannot know there's a chance of them being saved.

What do you mean, remove? Like, before we can even find it?

... Yeah, I believe so. I think that perk specifically is for planning murder since you have to choose beforehand, but you can wildcard it.

This is obvious, but I can't have anyone else knowing about both "activities."
