Honor Society + Whatever-The-Hell-Nier-Is Picnic

[Sometime on Monday, Nier will get a text informing him that they're having a picnic, as well as the time and place.

When they do get together, somewhere on the campus grounds, there's a large picnic blanket spread out over the grass. There's also a pitcher of iced tea and some cups. Kon and Yamato have been encouraged to bring food.]

Good; everyone's here. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get started.

DEAN'S LIST

You guys saw the dean's list, right? I'm starting to feel pretty good about that theory I proposed last week.

[rita's just gonna slap down this chart to show.]

Of the six people who've appeared on the dean's list who we know have roles, all of them have their pictures intact. If we eliminate those with torn pictures, as well as those we've already investigated, it narrows the pool down by quite a lot. One of these remaining few might be our mystery role-holder.

There's the matter of the marquee, too. Sounds like the "sleepers and victim are part of the same pool" idea was correct, but... what's the rest of it mean? [mufasa???]

This makes a lot of sense. Mufasa is a name I remember from reading about the movie called "The Lion King?"

Have the "teacher's pets" been identified in public before? I wonder if they are the intended targets.

Mufasa's from a movie about lions. He's the father and he dies, but at the end of the movie he comes as a kind of cloud apparition to talk to his son and tells him to... "remember who you are".

... Let's just get to the point.

We have to decide who we're investigating this week.

If we wanna go off the Dean's List, some decent contenders are Mandricardo, Ichiro, Hope, Malik, or Lalli.

We aren't going to get many more chances, though... so maybe we could try something a little different this time. What if we just went up to our suspects and asked them if they know anything about "Additional Activities"? See what their reaction is? If they wonder, we could claim it got mentioned in a letter from the dead, or something. We could even send our confidants to sniff around, if we don't wanna risk outing ourselves.

The less of us that do so, the better, I say. We don't want to run the risk of them finding all of us out in case they ask around about the query.

This is more of a failsafe if things go bad where we can't catch a rogue killer, but I was considering choosing someone that would most likely step up.

Sakyou has told me that Denji would add his name into a ballot to be picked as sacrifice, so I thought he would be a good choice. I'm open to suggestions.

[ hewwo. Nier has called everyone to some abandoned classroom, during a time where there are no classes in this building in particular. No. Don't question the details. ]

Have you guys chosen your target yet? For the mystery role holder. [ Speaking of which: ] I think they can change the school rules.

... It would make sense, wouldn't it? We have some weird curse that starts up on Monday, but then we get a delayed one on Tuesday. Riku seems to think this makes sense, too.

If we look at the past weeks, none of us could use our roles when we first arrived, right? We didn't have them yet. There was no curse at all that week.

[ well........ where are we going i don't know, but we are in a nice discreet place this fine Saturday post-trial. Anais bullied me into this. ]
