Yeah, no kidding. But as you've probably noticed, the people running this place excel at taking amazing technologies and using them for the dumbest crap imaginable.

What, like giving us fancy communication devices and then slapping a limitation on what we can do with them? Yeah I noticed.

If this was how things were always gonna go, I doubt that was unintentional.

They get disabled at the most annoying times, too. Like someone's controlling them remotely? Guess we should assume that our communications aren't secure, either.

Probably not. They were given to us by them so it's kind of a given.

Taking the burn-it-all-down approach looks more and more tempting by the day...
