It's weird to explain, but in my world you don't see the sun or the moon in the sky... And at night, there's still light over the horizon, so it isn't quite dark enough to see the stars.
Hmph... I guess I get it. I never went far from my home until about a year ago. Lived in a city built into a cavern, so I hardly ever saw the sun or the stars for most of my childhood.
It's not bad, seeing different things for a change... but I guess I still liked Aspio best of all. Quieter than most cities, best library in the world, weather's never a problem.
... At least, that's how it was. I don't think it'll ever be like that again.
Yeah. Research takes resources, so it's pretty hard to be a mage without being affiliated. I get to do what I want most of the time, anyway. Just have to pass a periodic evaluation and take on any tasks that the Knights give me.
