It didn't seem like it. He always goes on about beauty sleep, so I didn't find it odd. Not sure who his friends or enemies were, too... We've only been here for a week.

Huh. Dogs aren't the sneakiest animals around, and she seemed, y'know... sociable [there's some hesitation at that, a slightly uncomfortable look that lasts just a moment], so maybe someone's already picked her up and taken her in.
That's a bit strange, considering if they're caught with keeping the dog they'll be very suspicious. [ Hmm. ] I'd imagine she could have at least bit the culprit... Dogs aren't the smartest, but they're empathetic.
