Honestly. Can't even imagine living in a place like that. Feels like I've had my hands tied behind my back here, going two whole months with barely any magic to work with.
Yeah, and that is pretty satisfying... but real magic is about way more than just getting to blast things with the elements.
There's an art to the formulas themselves. Writing them, deciphering them, improving them... That's kind of my favorite part of magic research. And that's even before we get into all the non-combat uses of magic...
