It was this place called 'Wonderland.' With a series of screwed-up games designed to make people suffer.
We had to spin a wheel to choose something to sacrifice. Things like... your physical attributes, your skills, parts of your body, your memories... or your life.
The worst was this game where... we were told there was another group in Wonderland. And we had to choose to "Trust" or "Forsake" them.
If we both chose trust, we'd get a normal challenge. Both forsake, and it'd be a tougher challenge for us both. But if one side trusts and the other forsakes... the "forsake" side skips the challenge entirely, and the "trust" side gets an especially deadly one.
We thought maybe it was the other field trip group. So we picked 'trust'. But the other group went with 'forsake,' and we had to fight... a pretty tough group of enemies. Burned through three of my spells in the first challenge. Everyone was injured. And when we saw who the other group was, it was definitely not the other field trip group, so...
