Something weird happened. Like, I was awake long enough to see some other people in the room conk out at midnight?

... But that's the last thing I remember. I ended up falling asleep, too.

Great. Yeah. Makes me wonder if the killers don't teleport, just the victims, since we didn't get dumped outside. Or if we just didn't get picked and it didn't activate.

I don't know. We found a bunch of sword slashes at the bookstore, but - I don't know if that tells us anything. Could be a sword against a sword, could just have been Byleth. I don't know anything about the Wang Lu guy, did he have a sword?

That was his item. There were slashes at cosmetology where we found him, too.

... When it comes to that, though, one of us will have to be with you, in case it counts as you spilling it against our will somehow.

He's a decent guy. And we know for a fact that he hasn't killed anyone up to this week. And he'd be a valuable asset to have on our side.

So... yeah, Caleb's a good choice.

But I feel like I should bring something up. I've been charting out the likely activities of those killers who work in pairs. Byleth and her allies. If my hypothesis is correct, they may have been able to recruit one new member since last week, and we have no idea who that is.

It's not especially likely that they would choose Caleb, but... it could be anyone. We should remember that.

It could be anybody, yeah. And that's fair. I want to protect you guys best I can, but look - I don't know how much I can keep from Caleb.

He knows me better than anybody else. So either you're gonna have to keep me in the dark, or.

... Then it might be for the best to share only the same names that group potentially knows by now, right? Yours or mine. That way we're not spilling anything new.
