It kind of fits their personality, doesn't it? ...Not the murders, obviously. But Otome and Byleth seemed to be the kind of people who'd prefer to talk.
Yeah. And it fits with the notion that they have some important purpose for what they do. They can't say anything to us, but maybe they're able to reveal it to their victims before they die.
[Manwol looks disappointed too, glancing over at the stove.]
Maya's the one who handles all the messages right? Maybe Otome, or one of her accomplices, sent him a message through her. He might at least be able to talk about it with the people who already know.
Even if not, he would've been able to talk to Rupert, Crow, and whoever else on the other side.
...I think... if they're able to tell people the truth before killing them, then it might be safe for the dead to know. They could be able to talk freely to each other.
While I'm sure somebody's watching us, especially at our most dramatic moments... I'm not sure it'd be possible to track all these weird things we get punished or rewarded for, without a system managing that. You'd have to be omniscient to follow everything going on around here.

Right. I don't think he had any more freedom to share that information than Otome did.

Which do you think would make more sense? A spectator or a system?

[she glances down at her phone as if reminded by the notifs]
Do gods not exist in your world?
