yeah i'll ask him to send it to you. he's ok well as ok as you can be with those field trips
... gimme a sec with this
[ he sends the first part along before he breaks down the actual image, but - ]
ok i dont know all of these but
Dragon Ball Z Episode 5 - Gohan's Rage or Goku Dies! There's Only One Chance Left -Goku is the main character in DBZ. gohan's dad, he sacrifices himself to save gohan's life
Yu Yu Hakusho Episode 1 - "surprised to be dead" - 's like the literal first episode in a series, the main character dies saving a kid's life and it kicks off the whole series
Sherlock Holmes dies in the Reichenbach Fall Jack Sparrow gets dragged to the bottom of the ocean by a kraken/sea monster
...All of these are about the hero dying in a big dramatic act - but Kon's are the episodes or the movies that match. They're about the heroes being resurrected somehow.
like in YYH, urameshi (the protagonist) dies in the first episode, but in the episode on kon's paper, he was able to come back to life.
yeah. it's always the hero, too. the main character. yusuke, goku, jack sparrow, sherlock holmes matches up with the heroes and villains shit no name was spouting.
Yeah, but I think - The important part is that they come back. The ones on Kon's paper were all about being resurrected.
The writing of the red text has been the same on everything, so if the red text wrote these down, then it liked the fact that they were resurrected, too.
I mean, I don't think there's any guaranteeing it ...But that's what the evidence is pointing to. Right? Only question is who the "heroes" are. The people in the daycare? All of us?
It'd be pretty dumb if it was all of us. The point of a "heroic sacrifice" is that it's just one or a few people, to save the many. Totally defeats the purpose if it's everyone.
yeah this place is dumb as shit though so who knows what constitutes a hero? is it the drama of people like, volunteering or whatever
... cause i mean, i'd volunteer. especially if its into getting us back. i'd do it in a heartbeat. [ thats what i THOUGHT you'd say you dumb fucking protagonist ]
I wondered if maybe it means something specific. Like how it singled out Otome before. That's why I thought maybe the next group to talk to it should ask about that. I suggested it to Luxanna, anyway.
[ thank god there's no thought reading over text because he reads this and goes heh aw tsundere ]
haha, ok ok
maybe. it wasn't really cooperative - i tried to get what it meant by heroes and villains but it wasn't having it so maybe someone else'd have better luck otome-sensei having that really specific message was weird, yeah - esp cause tsuyukusa was compelled to do it like what happened to adora wasn't enough punishment its worth a shot. you're smarter than i am lol
i do think we gotta keep in mind that sacrificing one to save many in this case would probably like not be permanent based on these stories. yk?
[rita is the most glad; between emotionshare and thoughtshare, it's truly very hard to be a tsundere in this economy]
Maybe. But that alone isn't enough for me to start cozying up to the idea of sacrificing anyone. Hero or villain. I'd need something more concrete than just the notion that maybe the story would like to see that.
Actually, I've got a request. Could you not mention this stuff tomorrow? About heroes getting resurrected after sacrificing themselves. Even if it seems relevant. I don't want any idiots thinking they can sacrifice someone -- or worse, themselves, without any consequences. And most of all, you better not be one of those idiots.
yeah. me too. it definitely means *something* - hopefully whoever talks to that thing next can get more out of it than we could. im tryna keep in mind the idea of sequels, too, whatever that's supposed to mean - its definitely all connected.
and yeah - you got it. better to save that stuff for our meetings, anyway tomorrow we gotta focus on solving whats in front of us best we can. we got enough consequences to deal with from these dumb trials anyway, don't need worse on top of that but i get the message loud and clear, rita-chan ╰(*´︶`*)╯ lol

What did Kon get?

So the theme is death and resurrection?
That's a pretty obnoxious way to make a point.
