...All of these are about the hero dying in a big dramatic act - but Kon's are the episodes or the movies that match. They're about the heroes being resurrected somehow.

It'd be pretty dumb if it was all of us. The point of a "heroic sacrifice" is that it's just one or a few people, to save the many. Totally defeats the purpose if it's everyone.
