I was trying to fix an out-of-control blastia. If left alone, he was going to explode and take a chunk of the city with him. She was supposed to evacuate... but she stayed with me instead.
Yeah... I did. But at that point, enough pressure had been built up already that when it released, it came out in a blast while I was still right next to it.

They're sentient, but everyone just sees them as monsters these days. All they see is the damage done in attacks and not that we're trying to prevent worse happening.
